Lang Tengah Island Trip Part 4
Divers who dived in Sipadan Island usually would have least or no expectation when diving in islands located in Peninsular Malaysia. Me too. So, this time when dived in Lang Tengah, I did not expect to see macros like nudibranch. Probably my expectation was also attributed by UW experience in Redang Island many years ago. So the only ultimate goal was to hunt the shark.
But not too bad for this trip, there were still few nudibranches we discovered, though I have seen them in Sipadan/Mabul/Kapalai Island...
And a black Spanish Dancer...
Not only that, a surprise of a new fat nudibranch that we did not discover in Sipadan...
Damn me! It's over exposed. Blame me as I just couldn't get the camera setting right in most of the times throughout the trip. Arrgh!!! And a pro photographer was trying to poison me with lenses and Ikelite housing! Luckily I have antidote on camera gadgets. Hehe...
Finished seeing the macros, let's get onto the mission...
The small fishes were panicking, must be there...
Tada! The leopard shark (but it's called zebra shark in wikipedia). Let's get closer quietly...
From the front...
Aiks! It noticed us! A group of trespassers (divers) and it swam away...
Mission accomplished!
Wait a minute! Found a suspect of a murder case...
Were you the one involved in Steve Irwin incident?
Nay, it's too small to kill the mighty crocodile hunter.
That's all for the trip. Overall, not a bad one as I thought (I had very low expectation prior the trip), aside the "hoo-ha" happened prior the trip. Next trip has been secretly discussed to keep away from "hoo-ha", let's see how it goes this time.
