Homewood Suite Hotel by Hilton

This is the first time I stay in this hotel, it's 3 blocks away from my favorite hotel, JW Marriott. Well, since boss recommended this hotel as cost cutting measure, so I just think give it a try. It's not that cheap though, it's only USD$4 per night cheaper than JW, inclusive of free breakfast 7d a week and free light dinner from Monday to Thursday. Plus, the internet is free. But do you expect me to eat in the hotel for my breakfast and dinner everyday? No way man! Plus, there is a way to get free internet access in JW room, so likely I will only be saving USD$15 per day, sum up the entire trip duration and put the figure into the group cost, it's even smaller than a virus in the millions dollars group budget. Anyway, if the hotel is really way below my expectation, I definitely will justify to switch back to JW.

After collected the card key and before I messed up the room, let me be the guide to tour through the room.

The kitchen with micro-oven, coffee maker, electrical stove, dish washer, there is a fridge on the other side of the wall next to the table...

Hmmm... May be I can cook (if I have time), and the very first step is to "localize" the kitchen so that I feel homing. Before...

Let's go to the room...

Typical hotel room with king size bed, hope I don't need Salonpas with this bed. I guess this is unique...

The antique fan. This is the first time I have fan in the hotel room in Houston. I stayed in few hotels and none of them provide fan, some more fan like this. Don't tell me I get further rebate on the rate if I use fan and not air cond in the room.

Turn to the right side of the room...

The bath room area with mirror wardrobe. Oh, another TV in the bed room on the right of photo above. And aiks, the iron board reminds me that I need to re-iron my office wears later and there is extra bed linen on top of the wardrobe, I am getting worried that I may need to house keep the room myself!

Lastly the bathroom and toilet in same room...

Let's move back to the living room to verify my suspect. The sofa...

Bumblebee looks like a normal Chevy Camaro when it's not transformed, right? Let me try, "Autobot, transform!"

The sofa becomes bed! And there is a label on the sofa...

Phew! The bed linen is for the sofa bed, I don't have to housekeep the room myself.

Let's get few minutes of TV time on the sofa bed while waiting my peer to get ready...

Haiya, no Astro On Demand. Never mind, let's check if there is any exotic movie...

Haiya again, need to pay. By the way, that's my right leg not the "third leg" in the center of my 2 legs. :P

That's the end of the room tour. The hotel and room looks promising. With fully equipped kitchen, it's much more like a service apartment than business typed hotel room, I shall visit to Walmart, get some groceries to stock up the fridge and kitchen.
