I Am Safe and Sound in Houston...
It's not a lazy weekend for me, but the sun was still half at sleep...
I was on my way to the airport, to the flu transporter country.
I knew I am gonna miss Malaysian food, like the nasi lemak...
The lard!
Nonetheless, I still gotta get onto the plane...
To get to the place (office) that I am clueless if I would still be in one piece after meeting all the creatures there.
After the exhaustive of more than 24 hours of marathon flight and transits, I finally touched down at the destination airport. I collected the rental car...
Mazda 6!! Hmmm... Felt like the trip wasn't too bad.
My rental eligibility supposed to allow me an American car Pontiac G6 that I drove previously but the service counter was kind to upgrade me to Emerald Club member which I couldn't recall if I registered once before. Since he said I did, why should I argue that I am not, right? Let's enjoy first!!
Wait a minute, this is US, drive on the opposite side...
I gotta "reprogram" my brain to ensure I drive on the correct side of the road. I don't want to be another Chinese star like Jacky Chan :)
Vrrooom!!!
Within 40 minutes, arrived at the hotel...
The Homewood Suites Hotel by Hilton.
I felt like a salted fish, let's check in, get the card key and head to bathroom now...
I am now flu-free in Houston. Safe and sound with no "ha-chew" (sneezing) sound.
P/S: read the guarantee on the card. Free night stay?! If this were to be BullehLand, I am sure the hotel would be closed down after 1 month in business.
