HK Trip: The Loots
This probably a dated and the last post of my HK trip 2 months ago. I talked about food and found out I forgot to mention the food I missed, such as this...
Gong Cha 貢茶.
In Macau...
We had a huge lunch that I couldn't stuff in more, in particular the pork burger! The outlet we went was closed and we were rushing time. Sigh.
Since I missed out some food, I must loot something in return from shopping to cheer myself up...
The Vibram Five Fingers Barefoot shoe. Some other views...
It's Bilika LS series with speed lace system (I am a lazy butt, I hate shoe lace!), you can visit Vibram site for more. The look on my foot...
Well, I know the look might not be pleasant to some of you, and so the barefoot concept. But I reckon going barefoot is healthy. One obvious observation on myself was I found out that some of my toes were overlapping each other when wearing normal shoe, hence not walking/running in "natural foot/toe posture". Vibram Five Fingers fixes this as each toe has its own toe pocket, positioning the foots (and toes) back to natural posture. Most important is I feel very much comfy wearing Vibram than normal sport shoes. It also looks cool to me! :)
That's the one and only thing I got for myself. I regretted that I should have bought few other models for other purposes like walking and biking, Vibram is not available in Malaysia and quite a premium to buy in Singapore. It cost me RM400 only in HK after forex, very much comparable to US original price at USD$100.
The other was for my little darling as her birthday present...
A dancing Mickey that she was so fascinated with it. Shhh... a surprise to her, she didn't know I bought it.
This shall conclude the trip and I shall move on to my biking life. :)
